Einsatz in der Herner City

Korps Herne
Pünktlich zur WM am Freitag starteten wir in Herne mit Kickoff. In der Fußgängerzone verteilten wir mit einem Team aus Schweiz, Korps und Südafrika verschiedene Flyer, DVD's und sogar Bibeln. Durch diesen intensiven Einsatz wurden viele Gespräche ermöglicht, die vielleicht manchem in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Auf diese Weise durften wir ein Anstoß für die Leute sein, wieder neu über Gott nachzudenken.

Just in time for the WM on friday we started with KickOff in Herne. With our Team consisting of corps people, swiss and south africa we gave out Flyers, DVD´s and even bibles, in the pedestrian precinct. Through this intensive ministry many conversations were possible, that may stay in the mind of those people. In this way we could be a kickoff to think again about God.
Beim Einsatz in der City haben wir die Leute natürlich auch zu unserer Live Übertragung Deutschland - Costa Rica eingeladen. So haben wir dann mit 10 Personen in unserem Saal das Spiel verfolgt , die sowieso schon gute Stimmung besserte sich selbstverständlich mit jedem deutschen Tor!!! Dank der tatkräftigen Hilfe von Patty aus Südafrika und Simon aus der Schweiz wurde es für alle Beteiligten ein Super Abend mit Gutem Fussball und gutem Essen.
Als Highlight und Abschluss durften wir noch eine Andacht von Patty hören, die alle Gäste und Helfer beeindruckte und zum nachdenken auforderte. Wir möchten uns nochmals ganz herzlich bei Patty und Simon bedanken.

When we were ministring in the city, we, of course, also invited people to come watch the game Germany:Costa Rica. So we watched the game in our Corps hall with 10 people, the already good mood got better with every german goal. Thanks to the help of Patty from south africa and Simon from switzerland it was a good evening for all of us, with good football and good food. As a highlight we listened to a little devotion from Patty, which impressed all the helpers and guests and lead us to reflection. We want to say thank you again to Patty and Simon.
